Hey music fans, Jordan here! I’m here to give you my throwback picks of the week. My taste in music ranges anywhere from 60’s and 70’s Soul Town to 2000’s pop hits. You’re gonna get a weird range from me here. Be prepared to reminisce on some of the greatest oldies from every genre!
Material Girl – Madonna (1984)
An 80’s classic that everyone knows the words to. This was perfect for when you were feeling like a diva and wanted everyone to know it. Madonna was the Queen of Pop in the 80’s and thanks to this (and some others) song she still is the Queen today.
Mr. Brightside – The Killers (2004)
If this song doesn’t hype you up then you have some serious issues. This was the ultimate song to fake mosh pit to at school dances. It’s one of those songs that you have to scream sing.To be 100 percent honest, my friends and I still scream sing this song when it comes on at the bar.
Hey There Delilah – Plain White T’s (2005)
This ballad of middle school love will never get old. I was always a little jealous that my name wasn’t Delilah, because how cool would it be for this song to actually be about you? These song lyrics were definitely in your AIM profile when you were young and in love with the boy who sat next to you in 6th grade math.
